My goal is to help you re-imagine your life. With years of experience in the counseling profession and a history of client success, my "empower you" approach will help you attain your goals. I believe that when you change your thoughts and add the right tools you can heal your life and relationships.
I work with people in every stage of life-childhood through adulthood. I specialize in Anxiety, ADHD, Depression, Adjustment Disorders, and Relationship Issues. My sessions are interactive, goal-oriented, and outcome-based. I strive to help people overcome their obstacles and reach their full potential. I am not going to allow you to buy into your negative thoughts. We will conquer them together.
I am is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a Nationally Board Certified Counselor (NBCC), and the CEO at IE Counseling. As the mother of three young adult children, I bring much "real life" experience to the realm of parenting skills, education, emotional development, and relationships.
I can't believe I am saying this but...I have over 20 years of accomplished work in both the mental health field and the private sector. I bring a wealth of experience, training, and skill to each client session; not to mention a little sass and fun.
I practice what I preach and participate in lots of continuing education training programs, professional organizations, professional peer support, and networking groups. I am an active member of the New Jersey Counseling Association and the New Jersey Mental Health Counseling Association. I have served as President and Past-President for several terms over the years. I work with professional counselors and social workers throughout the state providing Professional Peer Support Groups in Union, Morris, Hunterdon, and Somerset Counties. In recent years I returned to Rutgers University to become a Certified Divorce Mediator and I am a member of the New Jersey Association for Professional Mediators. I am also trained in Collaborative Divorce and am a member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts.
Committing to a better life is just that – a commitment! It’s a big one, that will take a lot of dedication. My commitment to you is that I will provide you with confidentiality, accountability, direction, understanding, and support.
